Start a new game with:
Replay the same shuffle from the beginning. This resets your progress, including undo and redo history.
Drag a card or run to a destination column, or select it and then select the destination. Select the same card again, click or tap bare table space, or press Esc to cancel a selection.
If a group cannot move, clicking or tapping it selects the movable cards at the bottom of that column. An incompatible destination keeps your selection. Click or tap that column again to select cards from it instead.
Hint (the lightbulb button) highlights a suggested move without playing it. Select Hint repeatedly to cycle through suggestions.
Undo reverses a move or deal. Redo, in the Game menu, reapplies an undone move or deal. Use Ctrl+Z to undo and Ctrl+Y or Ctrl+Shift+Z to redo. On Mac, use ⌘Z to undo and ⇧⌘Z to redo.
New game immediately starts a fresh shuffle with the current suit count. Choose 1, 2 or 4 in Change suits to start a new game with that many suits. Fewer suits make runs easier to build.
Restart game replays the same shuffle, including the undealt cards. It clears your progress and undo and redo history.
Undo new game appears briefly after a new game starts. It restores your previous game and its undo and redo history.
Your game saves automatically in this browser.
Save across devices lets you sign in with an email code and choose a game to save or continue. Saved games includes syncing status, export and account controls. If devices have different versions, you can choose which to continue while keeping both.
Play offline shows when the cards are ready for offline use and how to add Spider to your home screen. Offline progress saves here and syncs after you reconnect if account syncing is enabled.
Tight stacks is the default. It reduces the spacing between covered cards and shrinks the table when needed. Fit zoom shrinks the whole table evenly to keep all cards visible. As it comes uses regular card size and spacing; long columns may extend below the screen.
Compact cards use simple rank and suit markings in place of illustrated faces. Select Appearance to cycle through colour palettes. Your view and colour choices are remembered.
Full screen uses the whole display when your browser supports it. Use the same button to leave full screen, or press Esc on a keyboard.
An update is ready. Close all Spider tabs and reopen the game to apply it. Your saved game will remain.
